Big news for the Masse family! In the past two weeks, not one, but TWO exciting things have happened in our family.
The first is that we've added a second member to our family... Phoebe! It was a quick 48 hour period from the time we found a shelter in Denver still doing adoptions, and from when we actually were picking her up and taking her home. She was found in New Mexico and was a day away from being put down before Do Over Dogs shelter in Denver rescued her. She was so afraid that she would just pee herself in her cage when anyone came near. She's around 4 months old now and is doing great. She had a lot of fears but overcame a lot of them in the first few days of being with us, She and Joey are adjusting so well together and we love having two dogs at home! #JoeyandPhoebe
The second exciting news we have to share is that Will received his green card this week! On top of that already being amazing, we were expecting the visa to only be 3-5 years... It is actually a TEN YEAR visa!!!! This is a HUGE blessing to us and we can finally have peace after this 2.5 year process. At a later time, Will can decide if he wants to become a US citizen or if he wants to renew his visa once it expires.
Our normal day-to-day life is still being home 99% of the time. We're thankful that Will has a job that allows him to continue working from home since i'm unemployed. We take 3-4 walks a day and continue to take hikes once a week. Enjoy pictures from our hike at Elk Meadow Park... This was Phoebe's first hike and our first Elk sighting!!!
We are continuing to make the most of this weird time and are extremely grateful to have so much time to catch up on for not being together for 8 months. It's not the way we thought it would be, but God did answer our prayers and we're praising Him for that.
