Bonjour! I wanted to do a quick post before we head out. Our original flight [NY - Paris] was cancelled yesterday so we had to reschedule the flight for today. We're in Philadelphia now, have just boarded the plane, & are getting close to leaving for Paris. Our flight is 7 1/2 hours.
We've said more goodbyes the past two weeks than I can even count. It's not easy or fun, but it has been an awesome reminder of how many people love Will and I and how many people we love in return.
I wanted to mention a few of the people who have had an impact on our move:
I am amazed at the many people that God has been sending Will & I’s way to share a kind and encouraging word, to let us know they are praying for us, and to share how we have inspired them. One thing that has been on my heart for the past few weeks is the amount of people who have been saying to me, “I wish I could do something big for God” or “I wish I was brave enough to do something like that.”

"Anya recently told me that one of the questions she has been asked the most since their announcement is "What do your parents think about this?" Okay, fair enough question. Linnea has already addressed that question very capably in a Facebook post in which she talked about how she has been releasing our 3 kids back to God since they were born, and how often she has prayed that God do amazing things in their lives and always adds "And keep me out of the way." I have done and prayed all that as well, but not nearly as consistently as Linnea has.
