We've said more goodbyes the past two weeks than I can even count. It's not easy or fun, but it has been an awesome reminder of how many people love Will and I and how many people we love in return. I wanted to mention a few of the people who have had an impact on our move: I am thankful that my parents began praying for me, my future spouse, and my future in-laws from the time I was born. I am thankful that they instilled in me the importance of making God and church the greatest priority. I am thankful that they have shown me a life dedicated to the mission of the Gospel. I am thankful for their constant love and support for the last 23 1/2 years of my life. I am thankful that Will's parents trusted him when he originally made the decision to move to France. I am thankful that they supported him emotionally, physically, and financially in order for him to stay in the US for 4 1/2 years. I am thankful that they helped him pursue his dreams of playing basketball and attending college in the US. I am thankful that they modeled hard work for Will throughout this whole life. I am thankful for my sisters prayers and encouragement since she has known about our decision to move. Also thankful for all of these people and all the love they show us. Plus, there's no one better to laugh and have fun with. I'm so thankful that 3 1/2 years ago, God led me to do an internship at CrossView Christian Church. Although it was only for 3 months, I am so thankful that I have stayed connected with the Brackemyre family. I am thankful for the example of their marriage and the ways they parent. I am thankful for sweet and joyful Max. I am thankful to have an amazing mentor and to have learned so much from Cheryl. I am thankful for their support and prayers throughout this entire process. You all are seriously awesome. These people are incredible. God put it on our heart a year ago to get involved in a small group but there wasn't one for young adult couples. God ended up connecting us with 3 other awesome couples and we've been meeting since the spring. I've so enjoyed laughing and learning with these people each week and will miss them so much. Can't wait for our European reunion sometime in the future. ;) #twinkletush #dirtybee #cardgame #tbutter #90sparty #Whitewater #Amazon #oneeyeguy #Skyline #whiteelephant #Catholics #Devonstories We began attending Whitewater in the fall of 2012. We've been blessed by so many people at Whitewater, our small group, and serving on the parking and Harbortown Kids Ministries. Will was brand new to God & the Gospel and Whitewater answered many of the questions he had when he first came to Cincinnati. Will also went all in and was baptized at Whitewater in 2013. God has used this church to heal wounds we had, help us grow together, and has had a huge impact on our move to France. We're so thankful for this church and will miss it like crazy when we leave. Thanks to social media, we will still continue to stay connected each week. We're excited to live our life on mission in France! I'm so thankful for the year I worked at AHG and the incredible people I met. Before finding AHG, I was looking for a Children's Ministry job and God led me to AHG. I now realize He led me there so that I could be encouraged by so many special people at this ministry. They've got some of the most loving and caring people. Also a special shout out to: -My seashore girls for being so awesome. Can't wait to see where our dreams go from the Convention kitchen table. ;) -Rebecca - Zone 1 rocks! I'm thankful that God led both Will and I to CCU. I'm also thankful for Ken and Libby Tracy for all they did for Will and I throughout the past 3 1/2 years. We're so grateful for this amazing family and the ways they have encouraged us. To BCC - Thank you for loving my family and being supportive of Will and I as we get ready to move.
To those of you who have prayed for us - THANK YOU! To those of you who bought scarves - THANK YOU! To those of you who bought our house items - THANK YOU! To those of you who bought cinnamon bread - THANK YOU! To those of you who have given a special money donation - THANK YOU!
