UpdateOur summer is coming to an end. Will had two weeks of vacation in August so we enjoyed visiting places around France, exploring more of the Lyon, and relaxing at home! It's been a great summer and very nice in August since the city isn't very crowded because everyone is on vacation this month. I'm excited to share that I will begin working with a family this week and baby-sitting two girls. (3 and 7 years old) I will meet with the family tomorrow to prepare and will officially begin September 1st. I'm very excited and very nervous! They don't speak any english so it will be a great opportunity to put my French to the test and also share my english with these girls. I'll be working with them 4 days a week throughout the entire school year. I would love your prayers for this new adventure! I love Timehop because I'm able to see exciting things from my past. This week two years ago, Will and I had our first ever conversation about moving to France. We had initially decided we would NEVER move to France and I made that clear when I started dating Will. (Haha) Will had just come back from a summer with his family in France and we both had spent the 3 months of summer feeling so convicted that someday we needed to move to France to share the Gospel. I am so happy God stirred that in our hearts two years ago and that he led us here. It hasn't been an easy journey but each day gets easier and we continue to pray for seeds to be planted. ![]() Will and I are excited that basketball season has started again! He is happy to be back on the court and I am happy to be back in the stands. GO LYONSO! Olympicsgymnastics) but I watched many sports I had never seen before. France is great at judo, boxing, handball, fencing, archery, etc. I would definitely love to be back in the US for the next summer olympics! Meet JoeyMeet our sweet new dog Joey!
