French is a barrier in some of this so my goal is to focus more on French this summer as I'll have more time to spend on it. One of my jobs ends in July so I'll have more free time.
This is also my favorite time of year in Lyon! We are settling into our apartment and enjoying this beautiful 85 degree weather. May was an exciting month and I'm sad to see it go, especially since June will be a busy month for us. I've shared about our month of May below.
We've seen a lot of rainbows and beautiful sunsets from our apartment this month. Here are two of my favorite shots.
We celebrated my 25th birthday eating delicious French food in the city. Amazing location in the old part of Lyon and incredible food!
We took a day trip to the coolest medieval walled town very close to Lyon. It's been named one of the most beautiful villages in France and after visiting, i'm sure it's true! There were a few restaurants, markets, bakeries, a church, a few small stores, etc. You could almost live in this village and not have to leave for much. If you ever plan to visit Lyon, make sure Perouges is on your list as well!
Will's Basketball Season
Will's basketball season came to an end two weeks ago when they competed in the Regional championship game and WON!!!! Such a great season and they'll be moving up to a National division next year. Super exciting!
