BEST VACATION EVER
Family, friends, boating, canoeing, church families, cornhole, fourth of July, pick up trucks, mountains, dirt bikes, football, American food, game nights, hiking, grill-outs, movie nights, bonfires.... Some of the many things that made this trip the BEST VACATION EVER. There's nothing quite like being back home after 2 1/2 years and getting your fill of all your favorite things. I checked all my favorite foods, places, and activities off my list and am already looking forward to the next time I'm back in the States. #MERICA
This trip was a great reminder for Will and I of how many special people we have on the other side of the world that love and care for us. We got to see so many incredible people and were sad that there were many that we still didn't end up getting to see. Our hearts are full.
Below I've added a full video from our adventures in the Cincinnati area, along with many pictures!
I'm extremely delayed in getting this blog post out but in May, Will and I spent my birthday weekend in Spain. We stayed in Roses Spain for a few days and spent a day in a nearby city called Girona. Both were incredibly beautiful and I was so excited to experience the Spanish culture!
In January we did two very typical French things: Skiing and a Professional soccer game. I was new to both, so it was pretty exciting!
Sharing all about our Holidays the past 2 months!
Will's family asked me this year if we could celebrate Thanksgiving, since they had never experienced it before. I was a little overwhelmed by the idea of cooking an entire Thanksgiving meal by myself for 7 people. I spent a few days preparing traditional Thanksgiving dishes and somehow pulled it off! This was also Will's first time cutting a turkey. (Which we had to pre-order because they don't sell them in stores.) It was their first time eating a turkey like this, super fun!
I am really excited to share photos from the very talented Emily Frazer. In the spring, Emily came to France and offered to take photos for Will and I. I love having photos of us in a city that we love so much. Please please go check Emily out. She was incredible to work with and obviously her photos are amazing too! I put some of my favorites below for you to check out!
MOM COMES TO FRANCE
Just finished an INCREDIBLE two weeks with my "muth." We spent lots of time:
-Exploring Lyon & Annecy France
-Eating LOTS AND LOTS of pastries and desserts
-Watching a ton of movies! (Mostly Christmas!)
-Having amazing talks
-Relaxing and Cooking together.
Enjoy our trip through pictures!
I stole this "10 Things" idea from Mary Kate Robertson and her blog "thelittleduckwife.com" because I think it's a great way to share the little things happening in our lives, what I love, what I am learning, etc.
